From the 30th September 2022 to the 2nd October 2022, our group participated at the 3rd Scientific-expert conference „Climate change and preservation of marine ecosystems of the Adriatic Sea with international participation“. The conference was organized by the Marine Education Centre Pula, Aquarium Pula and the Department of Ecology, Agronomy and Aquaculture of the University of Zadar. The meeting is a sequel of the previous two meetings organized by Eko Kvarner in the City of Krk: “Exstension of the ecological network NATURA 2000 to marine areas (northwest coast of the island of Krk, Rijeka Bay) in 2020 with the aim of preserving habitat of the noble pen shell (Pinna nobilis, Linneaus, 1758)” and “Literacy (knowledge and understanding) of the functioning of the Adriatic Sea ecosystem in 2021”. At the conference, negative impacts of human activities on the climate and the Adriatic Sea ecosystems were discussed, with the aim of providing sustainable solutions for future marine ecosystem management. Our group participated with one oral presentation and two poster presentations.
